Artist Statement

Hi!! My name is Elena Scholzen. I am a senior, and I am involved in the crew for the theater department here at West. I love listening to music, reading, art, and spending time with friends. In the gallery, you will see that I take portraits for most of my pictures. I love to capture the core of people as they act naturally, but I also like to have them pose to try and create a story through my image. My pictures also involve random things that show a bit about my personality and what I enjoy enough to spend 2 minutes staring at it to think of a good way to take a picture.
